As a specialist in composite manufacturing, MTAG have experience in a wide variety of applications including construction and industrial applications such as cladding, civil engineering interfaces between gas mains and cast-concrete structures and as part of pedestrian safety barriers for underground stations in London and non-conductive panels for mining operations in South Africa.
MTAG is proud to specialise in phenolic GRP with outstanding fire, smoke and thermal properties rated for use in deep tube/underground, civil engineering and construction environments.

We are able to manufacture phenolic cladding with excellent fire resistance, low smoke toxicity and low surface spread of flame and are currently developing solutions for the construction industry using an ultra-low formaldehyde resin system which could be offered as an alternative to many low-rise applications in the Construction sector. This type of application has already been used at the Canary Wharf Underground Station to electrically insulate the platform from whilst being made of a fire resistant material.
