To partner in the development of commercial tooling and manufacturing process leading to the production of GRP assemblies to underpin the product.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Through iterative development, Tiderock assisted in designing parts suitable for manufacturing processes capable of delivering both quality and volume with an efficient return on investment.

Having manufactured thousands of boats for RS Sailing during our partnership, our team was involved from an early stage. We contributed to tooling design and production, materials selection, manufacturing process development, and commercialising the design for serial production.

All production tooling was produced to exact specifications using a combination of 3D scanning, CNC pattern design, and hundreds of hours of skilled craftsmanship. To meet project demands, we developed a dedicated manufacturing team that successfully produced up to four fully fitted boats, complete with all deck ancillaries, each month.
