COMPANY HISTORY

MTAG Composites is a family run business in the heart of rural Lincolnshire, employing over 120 staff within 61000 sq. ft having grown rapidly over the last 12 years. MTAG has become a leading composite manufacturer in the UK having developed a complete in-house production system with the capability to develop and construct our own moulds & Jigs, produce from one off’s to hundreds of thousands of moulded composite parts using a wide variety of resin systems including Phenolic, Polyester and Epoxy. We also fabricate components in FRP using a variety of resins and painted parts to all specifications.

MTAG successfully manage a large portfolio of products for rail, aerospace, automotive, construction and leisure sectors producing train interiors, aircraft seating and pleasure craft. Specialising in vacuum-assisted injection RTM, vacuum-infusion RTM, hand-lay, closed moulding and silicone vacuum bagging, we offer rapid tooling and short-run capabilities alongside manufacturing high volume parts.

Having invested continually since MTAG was formed, CNC machining, 3D scanning and robotic machining are examples of the drive to deliver parts to market on reduced lead times and maintain high standards in combination with our skilled operators who focus on delivering quality products to our many customers. This ethos has driven successful projects with ACRO, Hitachi, Bombardier, and MRSS, and long-term production of boats, seating for Jet-2, Air New Zealand and Etihad Airways to name but a few.
