As MTAG has grown, the need for an in-house paint facility has expanded into its own dedicated unit and along with gelcoat composite finishing areas, any part can be taken from a raw moulding to a quality finished part without leaving the site. With teams of finishers looking after polishing, preparing and painting, we can deliver parts ready to use without the need for further processes.
At our main site in Coningsby, we have three professional spray booths where we deliver wet spray coated composite parts to customers without the parts leaving the site. In addition, we have a large paint preparation area with full ATEX extraction to ensure the best possible finish prior to the application of any paint type specified. With a wealth of experience in the application of textured paints, two-pack and water-based paints and can even provide paint finishes compliant to fire, flame spread, smoke and toxicity criteria, suitability for Aircraft, Underground (HL2&3), Overground and Marine is maintained.
Our team can deliver high gloss or matte paint finishes to any RAL colour or gloss level, anti-graffiti coatings and can apply topcoat finishes to carbon fibre parts to accentuate the visible material. Using top quality materials, our team can deliver high calibre finishes with UV stable coatings to perfectly finish any part.
